Hi,
While i tried to find out the status of emclt its giving below error.
C:\>emctl
EM Configuration issue. D:\oracle\product\10.2.0\db_1/hostname.domain.com_hrdw not found.
What is the cause of this error?

Are you talking about the Grid Agent or the OMS server? some more details would help.
I think if your install (or config) went cleanly then in your emagent home your <hostname.domain> directory would have been created in your emagent home. Check your install logs, and see if all the configurations were done correctly.
