Hello,
I'm looking for some inspiration what might be wrong with our Grid Control agent (10.2.0.2) configuration on our HP-UX 11.23 machine. This machine is registered in OMS 10gR2 as target together with the first installed database. Meanwhile this machine got two extra database instances which we would also like to register, but ...
Up to now we could not add them as targets. We tried the cheap way first = via automatic target discovery via OMS, switched to manually adding targets, frantically restarting the local agent (with and without running instances) and cleaning the target.xml of this machine. No results. Only the original targets come back. We also checked the registered login's and connectivity between the servers and all seems to be okay. All we get is a time out in the "Add target manually" screen.
Has anybody an idea what might be wrong here or what else to look for?
