Position description: Defining a data conversion strategy to move data from one Oracle database to another. Writing and testing the Oracle Stored procudures to perform the Extract-Transform-Load process
.
Job role & skill set: Database Administrator - e-Business - On Demand
Required skills: ERC Clearance; Defining data conversion strategies; Writing Oracle Stored procs to extract, transform and load data; Experience designing and implementing the physical elements required to structure the data aspects of a solution, including databases, file systems and storage managament. Experience defining test scripts to test the stored procedures; Knowledge of object-relational mapping considerations for data. Approx 5 years total experience performng data base administration/development work for distributed systems.
Must live in Canada and have been here for at least 5 years.
