Hi all

I am using Oracle 9i and i tried event tests on one of my database.I am only successful in performing NODE,DATABASE& lISTENER UP-DOWN test...but any of the database event test like tablespace full or broken jobs give me error in Event..The msg is 'Event test "Tablespace Full" failed: ora-0: normal, successful completion ' ..
I am not able to find out the reason for it..
Please tell me the solution for this if anybody knows

Thanks in Advance

Regards
Deepti

From docs at:

http://download-west.oracle.com/docs/cd/B10501_01/server.920/a96525/e0.htm#1001560

ORA-00000 normal, successful completion

Cause: An operation has completed normally, having met no exceptions.

Action: No action required.

So, if you get this error, most probably, everything is fine.

Hi Niravshah

It looks like everything is right ..It is giving me yellow hexagon with an exclamation sign in it..that means there is some error in the event itself..e.g i set the threshold value for my tablespace full event 80% but when the space in the tablespace got exceeded 90%, even thenit didn't gave me any warning or alert ..in ideal condition, alert was to be raised.

right,so we can reach the decision that this is not an oracle related issue.
