HI
I have asked this quesiton many times.. in a hope that some one might have workd on this .. so if he wishes to help me out..
i will be grateful ...
i have created the management server and it has a name like
oem_ots-15kxktuc1t..
Now when i tried to connect to management server through OEM console...
it ask for user name n password which i give sysman and oem_temp...
But in the management server field... it is showing me some differnt name.. and when i copied that name which is there oem_ots-15kxk.... etc..
it says that unable to resolve the host name. now what is this...
it created the repository n now showing me nothing ...
i m stuck up... any one with clear steps. plz
Can any one tell me the steps to follow and then i wil b able to create a management server on a single machine.. i have oracle 9.2.....//

Please the OEM configuration doc.
make sure the intelligent agent is running.
Make sure the Database and listener that has repository is up and available.
