Data Warehouse Developer
This position is involved with several ongoing data warehouse projects. Primary duties include analyzing and documenting processes and applications, working with end-users in acquiring report or project requirements and constructing queries or programs to meet demands. There will be regular contact with management to discuss on-going projects and clarify issues. Has responsibility for using and maintaining tables within the database. Provides support in administering data warehouse.
Technical Skills required include good programming skills such as Visual Basic or .Net, Excel macro scripting, knowledge of Oracle databases and Discoverer, web design (PHP, ASP,PERL) and application development (SDLC). Must have a good understanding and working knowledge of PL/SQL and relational database design. Experience with basic networking, DOS and Unix is a plus.
Other skills required include good communication skills both written and oral
