Responsibilities:
Working on Client/Server management Standard product to provide powerful tools to administer Win 9x, NT Systems from remote client. Product helps in reducing Total Cost of Ownership (TCO) of PCs, by providing services, which allows administrator to perform management tasks remotely, monitor system activities and keep track of system configuration. Product provides support for monitoring disk space utilization, network traffic, processor activity and many other parameters. User can specify limits on these parameters and is alerted by means of popup, execution of a command etc. The Product can track file tampering, predict hard disk failure and manage inventory by maintaining detailed information about hardware and software configuration of systems on network. As a part of the project team my responsibilities includes developing client side MFC based applications to provide these remote administrator features locally in a very user friendly way.
