Hi,
I am having trouble getting EM DB Control to work on my fresh installation of 10g ( Windows XP Home ). The problem is two-fold:-
1) I can't start the DBConsole service, either with emctl or through the Control Panel. When using emctl, it just goes on and on ( lots of dots ) and when using the Control Panel, I get a timeout message from Windows.
2) On the few occasions when I can actually get a login screen up on my browser ( http://127.0.0.1:5500/em ), I can't login. I get an "I/O Conn: Connection Error" error.
Has anybody experienced anything similar and can give me some guidance ?
